Hello, my name’s Gary Barratt, I’m a 3rd year Philosophy student and I am one half of this year’s News team. This year the News section is a huge 8 pages and that’s not even counting our presence online. Since there’s all this space to fill the most important member of Hullfire is you – editors are all well and good but if we don’t have anything to edit then the project fails. Writing for Hullfire is one of the most rewarding things you can do with your time at university, and if you can give us something insightful, creative and original we’re well on our way to an amazing newspaper.
